I'm depressed and nobody's online to engage in escapisim with.

Eh...wide variety of things from 3 y/o mess to the cold moving into my chest to unremitting rain. Loneliness is in there somewhere and some other stuff I won't go into.

ouch, that doesn't sound to good, feel better Foxee, and may bright smiles shine your day.

If it makes you feel better Foxee, I got sunburned this weekend. No? Well, it does sound like a crappy day. I'm all for rain, but there's just no way you can enjoy it when you're sick. After all, you can't go out and drive with the windows down. I hope you start feeling better soon. You should head over to the happy thread and make a post there too.

I got bitched at all weekend by stupid people that don't know how to park and get pissed off at me saying, I pay $20 for membership here and its always full, my personal favorite, where does it say I can't park here? Goshdarned ppls who don't know how the hell to drive a car, it pisses me off.

Ha, ha, i did that to a cashier last week. She looked so annoyed, I would've batted my eyelashes but I really didn't want to give the wrong impression. I felt stupid because I didn't count till I got there then I managed to count as she was scanning them.

Anyway I'm unhappy because I still have six more days of school holidays. I'm going to go crazy writing is near on impossible. I've started plotting for a new book and in my folder I have got about ten lousy pages of culture and rough thoughts. I feel like I'll never get there. Don't get me wrong i love my girls but they drive me nuts.

It's more annoying when people think it's funny that they have a couple over twelve items and count three loaves of bread as one item because it's bread... that sort of thing annoys me. I owuldn't mind if it was you love (depending on how many items over you were) just cause ur a friend. Just gets annoying. We can do suspend sales ya know!

The reason why there is a 12 items or less is because it's supposed to get customers with small amount of shopping out quicker without them having to wait behind a massive load of shopping and it doesn't help that where my 12 items or less checkout is, there is a TINY space so it's also difficult for us to put shopping.

I AM UNHAPPY WITH THE WAY THAT OLDER PEOPLE LEER AT ME AND MAKE SUGGESTIVE COMMENTS BECAUSE OF MY NAME! my skin wanted to crawl off my bones when a leery oldish man said "hey, didn't they make a movie about you???" I am not a 'blue' movie material person. If you think someones name is hilarious or suggestive, keep it to yourself unless you are best buds!

That reminds me of one time at Wal-Mart. It was five minutes after closing and a guy and his wife came through the line with a couple heaping carts. Due to some complications on his part it took twenty minutes to get through all the stuff. While I was doing that he wandered over to the in-store arcade and started playing games. I was finished for about five minutes before he finally came back over to pay. Then he said those words that will forever be burned into my mind.

"Aren't you supposed to be closed right now?"

ROFLMAO!!! I'm sorry to laugh like this, but that was just supremely hilarious man.

My reasoning has always been that two of the same items can be scanned just as quickly as one item, so I usually count them as one item.

But I once saw a cashier spend ten minutes arguing with a customer who brought 11 items through the 10 item checkout line. Ended up calling security and escorting the lady out of the store... all over a six pack of soda. This is what happens when two people having a bad day meet. Stupidity ensues.

Yeah, I've heard about Atlanta (only been there once and took cabs everywhere...which is usually scary/exciting anywhere!) from my truck-drivin' husband. He dreads going there...it's like the NYC of the south.

I wouldn't go to the point of calling Mr. Steed (security) just over that, I would kindly remind the lady that this is a (10/11/12) items or less. I wouldn't argue. We aint supposed to unfortunatly.

The only time I actually grumbled at a lady was when she came in and did her shopping about ten to five and we close at five. Quater past, I finish putting her items through and she rushes off, takes another five minutes to grab a loaf of bread before she came back. I said to her that we were supposed to be closed at five and it really puts us behind when you rush off. Or something like that. I let her know I wasn't happy. lmao.

I am unhappy because I am a safety person for service and attended a meeting and I feel really unconfident that I am doing a good job. Im too soft I think and feel uncomfortable. And apparently within six months or more all five of us safety personal (that I call glorified hall monitors) Get the equal of the spanish inquisition of safety. *hides in a shoe box*

Do you know during the Spanish inquisition…and I forget what he did to deserve this…was placed into a pot under a lit fire of wood. This was out in the open where everyone could see, any way they boiled this guy in a pot it took two hours for him to die. Rather disgusting.

Anyway

I’m unhappy because I’ve spent the most of my week outlining my plot and building a culture for a novel called Black nettle hill. Then last night when I got into bed I started thinking about it and realised that it’s not good and I may have to go back and replot. I hate starting over…

That reminds me of what is quite possibly the second coolest short story ever written. It's called "Why Johnny Can't Speed."

This is my first post here,

so tuesday I'm having a really great day, its decades day theme and the sophmores dress up in 50s wear. So I'm the only guy to have gelled his hair, wear sunglasses, a leather bomber jacket, and overall look cool even in 95 degree weather.

So I'm really getting the ladies and stuff, but about last period things only got from bad to worse.

First I slip down the stairs and I continue slipping, now my shins and arm are killing me from slipping, slamming, and gripping on a railing for about 6-7 steps, then I end up dropping my shades, nice pair that my brother has had since he was a teenager about 10 years ago.

Then ppl start harrassing me about dumb stuff dealing with a girl who lives far away and wants me to go to her prom. Its not like I can go anyways, but it just a pet peeve. I get a ride from my friend alysa to teen court, and she starts asking stuff about my sister. Then after I say a couple of things she's like, "aren't you concerned? Aren't you gonna do anything?"

I say "I care about my sister, but no, she's 23 and old enough to make her own decisions without me watching over her all the time." So she's like talking crap saying, "what if she gets in a car accident over a DUI? You could of done something about it you know?" I basically tell her that I don't need her saying **** like that and we get in this huge argument over **** that doesn't really concern me.

So basically my day was pretty bad, but after talking with people I realized, Its none of my buisiness what my sister does with her life, she tells me what she does, but its none of my buisiness. And its certainly none of her buisiness to know what my sis does, she's smart, an art student, who gets a good amount of money by selling her artwork. She's a senior in college and her life is in order. She's a college student, experiencing the world, both good and bad and trying things all the time.

So you know, it was a very unhappy afternoon, but I got over it. My heart ached at first because I don't like to get mad and argue with people. Now I know, some things just shouldn't be said, this one however, should be said.

The moral of this story, if your day goes from bad to worse, talk with a good friend, they'll help you to keep on keepin' on. Also don't get into stupid arguments with good friends, end it there before it gets bad and be like its none of your concern.

This has been a moment with DB15, everyone just remember, keep on smilin'!

Why is it that my co-worker is only two years older than me, but he has three degrees and is getting an internship at a hospital building artificial hearts while I still have no idea what I want to actually do for a living and can't seem to make it through even one semester of college without completely screwing up?

Why are all the people around me getting married when I can count the number of dates I've had on one hand?

I re-he-he-he-he-ally screwed up today and now I have 3 people who hate me. I think that's all I really have to say.

Im unhappy because I have to go back on my antidepressants and they turn me into a zombie in need of sleep. I started getting worse last week and today I cried in front of my boss after she asked me to do something and I said "oh well" and then she asked what my attitude problem was then I burst into tears. :S *sigh* so now I have to go back on my tablets. Kinda my fault cause I stopped taking them a few months ago. It's also the reason why I havn't been on here much cause I honestly coulndn't be bothered, I had no intrest in writing, or I just couldn't write.

So if anyone is feeling down, there is help out there and if you are taking medication, dont stop taking it because you 'feel alright' Because chances are that it will hit you again within a few weeks/months.

And http://www.beyondblue.org.au is a great help with helplines, what to do etc. There is also a youth link which is good as well.

If you or someone around you is feeling down, get help, talk to somebody. There are people out there that WILL listen to you, no matter how silly it sounds!
