Avarus Discussion

I need to pull my character for a while I'm not happy with the way I handle her. May I put in a replacement until I've fixed her up?

Since I was bored in between sorting out somewhere to live next yr at uni I re arranged my character profile to first person style (sorry Zorrell bit of a rip off of your style) but I was gonna add a bit n figured hell lets mess around with the format a bit to fit Avarus.

Okay never mind I just read the profiles and notice a few others had extra characters...

I was hoping this game would be a lot more balanced, but I guess not. So far we've got 6 Russos, 2 vigilantes, 1 cop/vigilante, and 0 New Pack. Why is everybody so into TaS? Is it the pianos?

Well your profile does actually have to make sense. From what I understand Sven's is a lower market type place where as Twist and shout is up market. No to mention that Flake stated that most of the people who go to Sven's are seeking justice. Wouldn't word have gotten around about that?

It would make complete sense to me that a character that recognises that and is a vig would not go there. Why would you go there to get your rear end kicked? Not to mention some criminals are a little more up market for instance Yakuza and Marfia.

Wouldn't word have gotten around that TaS and HLaW are fronts for criminal organizations? The same things that would "get your ass kicked" for going to Sven's can land you in jail for going to TaS or HLaW. At least at Sven's we get to carry weapons in case someone shows up looking for trouble. And we won't get killed if we go to the other bar, like you would if you left TaS and tried to walk into HLaW.

I just chose the route that seemed less restricting. I don't like the idea of being tied down to one of the gangs, especially considering I don't quite know what either of them stands for. It would suck to be in the New pack, for example, and find out later that my character's motives/logic/whatever doesn't at all fit the New Pack style.

I've got my own gang so theirs no restrictions there, If anyone does want a posting compainion I'm happy to move so they can post with me.

BTW, Mike's character has a yellow Ford Capri with racing stripes. Go for it.

LOL well Harmony's father set up the chapter for the vagrants in Avarus. She'd over see what's brought in for rebirthing. However she's more likely to race you for pinks or cash then steal your car. I don't think a little capri would deal so well with that

No that's not what my character looks like, I just thought it fit into the theme for Avarus so in celebration of the game I put it up. Yeah she does the whole underground racing scene

Since you brought it up, I'd like to mention that it's probably not a good idea for Harmony to be meeting her contact in TaS, considering it's the Russo's bar and all. Probably wouldn't want to be on their radar if she's planning on starting an operation of her own in this city. There are plenty of neutral bars and cafes she could go to instead.

LOL, that's a pretty good point, however daddy'd princess would be wanting a good meal. and now I'm off to errmm check out a new car so to speak LOL

ummm... I want to create a new profile, but I'll stick with stk (lol I made a funny ) for now, I want to get a feel for NAC before I make any devotional characters.
