New Dawn - Discussion Thread

Well if we set the scene you will be entering the hospital with a tank parked out in front of it. There may be some gossip in the area about it driving full speed down a civilian road. As you walk into reception there could well be a pool/ trail of blood on the floor if people haven't been dilligant enough to clean it. There's a small amount of chaos going on with people been admitted from todays conflict in the Red Zone.

Lord Highmount has been hospitalised however is now skulking around the corridors/ has exited the medical facility with sinister motives if so someone may be wondering where the hell he's gone and falsely attribute Ark Lin and V's presence to that as well. A nurse has raised the alarm on the commotion and that corridor is likely to have been closed off although if security staff are brave they may approach.

Finally in the room are two hopefully unconscious guards. One suit about to be tortured and Dre who is been awoken as well as V at his bed. Ark conducting the torture and Lin busy with the restraining.

And finally we're in a room with automatic doors which make a lovely hissing noise which I have been happy to point out several times since Foxee did originally lol XD

Quick question, Dark, if all soldier characters are going to be separated from V and Dre does this mean that Lin should go out the front doors with Ark?

V and Dre can make a different exit, I'm sure.

Its all soldier characters not with V and Dre...so that means everyone who isn't Lin, Foster, Ark.

I'm going to assume that there is an alarm going on right?

In the hospital...probably just staff evacuating any patients and personnel in Dre's wing. An alarm would spread panic.

In the city in general I wouldn't think so...Ohdran/Highmount had the techs take the grid down and instructed them not to warn security so there should be no alarms there.

So how do we know that the city's defense grid is down? Do we just get some kind of radio communication from the NDDF?

We'll find out. Just let the GM give you cues and you'll be fine.

Ok, I can do that. I just figure with the fact that whoever is out on patrol or something would call it in and then anyone else would get called up. Then again since me, Ark, and about 3 sqauds of NDDF are here, that would mean that I wouldn't.

I'm just going to be quiet now and go in my corner I'm hurting my head from all this thought process.

Guessing we need to remove the tank from play at some point because its a bit overpowered even if its nothing in the scale of what we're about to face.

Oh I don't think there's a hurry to get rid of it. LOL...Ark is kinda chatty but that's ok. Keeps the play moving.

Just make sure, if you ditch the tank, to notice Jack poking out of the alley.

...or you could notice him even if you don't ditch the tank.
