Ardus To-Do List

This is a little sticky for my benefit; I'll let you all know what remains to be done; and post updates to what I've been working on here.

- Finish up the half-elf race info
- Complete the history of Ardus
- Complete the profiles of the gods
- Add the 'beliefs and customs' entry for the races
- Do a write-up defining more clearly what Spectra is, how it works, and the limitations on its use
- Expand the character sheet format to include more direct details
- Place up more info about the individual nations and their histories
- Finish the maps
- Find some more concept art
- Ages and maturity rates for the different races
- Add more introductory information and some basic ground rules

New charsheet has been added.

Alright, folks, new info thread, and another item off the list! We finally have a (very) detailed description of the nature of Spectra; its uses, and its limitations. PLEASE read this if you plan on creating a character who can use it; it will give you guidelines for your character's reaction to Spectra, how they might use it, and the rules for using it.

Warning! I have no idea how readable or exciting this is. Feedback and suggestions are appreciated.

Tacked a little more on to the introduction; gives newcomers a guide to starting; and defines some new ground rules.

Again, rule #3 applies to new characters. Those of you with not-completely-standard characters (dragon children; zombies; Heinz-57-half-everythings) may keep 'em. But new chars must obey this rule.

Ahem. The racial ages and maturity rates are up.

Made a quick addendum to race info; female dwarves do NOT grow facial hair.

First three sections of the history is up! More to follow this week!

Section IV of the history is up! And it pretty much doubled the length of the rant.

And so it was that the Leader looked down from his chair, and he smote upon his keyboard saying "It is not yet done!"; and there was much wrath and toil, and much steam did issue from his ears. Until at last, he calmed, his labors complete, and another step taken in the journey. So was the tale of The Rise of Men brought forth into that Thread which is called "Histories", which lies in the forum which is called Ardus.

...And the Leader saw that he was much too attached to Ianthil for his own good.

Just put up a profile templates on the title posts for Gods and Deities, Lands of Ardus, and Groups and Societies. Any new outlines for these threads must have all the categories mentioned in the template. Old outlines do not require updates (unless you want to...which would be nice. )
