FRPG General Chat and Ideas

Here's where all the general discussion regarding Flashes go; ideas, comments, and suggestions!

What are Flash Games?

Flash Games are like flash fiction, a satisfying thrill ride.

Very short, no more than 2 to 3 weeks in length.

Packed with action and adrenaline, they'll probably require a higher degree of GM involvement than the usual short-run games.

Have specific goals to meet and will likely have missions to accomplish in order to stay on track to finish on time.

If anyone here played Thief Race, that was a Flash Game. Unfortunately it's no longer in the WF archives so if you weren't part of it you'll have to play the ones here and experience them for the first time on our beloved RC.

DB, this is just like the games we do now...still the writing. However they're just constructed to run fast and they don't last long.

If this is for flash games (short and bright) then does that make games like Pheonix colony SRPG? Sun rpg. LOL burned bright for a long time.

Quan Tim? Sounds like an asian american (no offence but it does.) And I didn't know Astro (the dog off of the jetsons) had his own feild of study let along physics. jocolor

Don't mind the sounds of hammering, power tools, and the occasional electrical shorting sound combined with excited cries of, "It's aliiiive!......drat! Scratch that." from behind the curtain, folks, we're just sticking together a game now so that we can all test-drive this idea...

...feel free to do a few wrist warm-ups and finger stretches. We're gonna try to post this beast tomorrow.

And I hope to tear a a piece therein! By test-driving this here style of game in short order. We're in the works today, as Fox has already reported. Hopefully we'll have the first flash up today sometime. Very Happy
