| ' Lose' would be if you misplace something. As in 'Don't lose your keys or your car won't work.' ' Loose' is when something isn't tight anymore. As in 'I had to tighten the loose lug nut to keep the wheel on the car.' I know...such a difference a little 'o' can make. | |

| Well especially for a non-native speaker those things can be quite annoying. I don't know how your English classes were (or are), but mine weren't very thorough. Everything I know about the English language I taught myself.
But, now I know the difference, I can continue writing. Thankies!

| You're one up on me, IMazed, I only know English (and most Brits would tell me that I actually don't. ) and a few words of Spanish. I always wanted to be bilingual but learning keeps getting set aside. Anyway, you do well! Ask any Q's you need and we'll do our best. | |

| Same story as Foxee for me...unless you count the computer programming languages I know. If so, my knowledge is as follows: English Spanish (But only a very few words and phrases and a basic grammatical understanding) Java (I think in Java sometimes) C++ (Not my preference, but has its plusses (pun intended)) Visual Basic (-barfs and runs screaming into the night-) Python (A little; fun language!) Unix Shell Script (Makes me feel like a wizard.) | |

| Oh, I know quite a few languages actually: *Dutch *English *German *French (although I can understand it better than actually speaking it) *Some Spanish *Some Serbian/Bosnian/Macedonian (these languages are so alike, I can't keep them apart. It's like accents in English) *A little Turkish *Russian (only a few words really, but I can tell them that I need to eat or something) I also can read Cyrillic, the Yugoslavian and Russian alphabet | |

| I have a knack for languages, but I can't count at all. I'm a dyslectic with numbers Quite annoying, I can tell you that. If you ask me to add 5 to 8, I need about a minute to figure out what the answer is. | |

| My list; *Dutch *English *German *French *Some Spanish *Russian (enough to explain Russians I don't speak Russian and ask if they speak English) *Italian (see Russian) *Native American (A couple of phrases I found for something I was writing a few years ago) Dutch people actualy speak an average of three to four languages, since we all learn Dutch (do'h), English, French and German in highschool. Besides, we have to learn other languages; no one speaks Dutch | |

Whatever would make you think that, Foxee??? Umm, since we're listing, I speak: English French What little I can remember of Year 8 & 9 Spanish A few random Japanese phrases A couple of Manderin Chinese phrases Scottish (if we're really getting into the Brit thing ) Also, thanks to the play I was in this month I can now say "Once Upon a Time" in: Farsi Arabic Classic Arabic (apparantly there's a difference) Hebrew Azeri Japanese Sanskrit Not that that will ever come in handy. But it's fun. And iMazed, as Foxee said if you have any questions we'll do our best to help
