| Roleplayer’s Central Rules v.1Roleplayer’s Central is meant to be a friendly, fun place where people can enjoy the games and discussion in a civil manner. Please help us to create such a place each day by heeding the following easy rules and guidelines:Rules:1.Treat others as you wish to be treated.
2. No flaming, trolling, personal threats, or harassment.
3. No pornographic or graphically violent images. Not on avatars, profiles, threads, or sigs. Not anywhere.
4. Hot issues such a sex and violence are going to be part of the stories and games. We ask that this is kept tasteful when written. No erotica.
5. Profanity is acceptable in character. We would appreciate if it was kept mild and scarce in other contexts.
6. Discussions inciting anyone to illegal behavior are not acceptable.
7. Please do not engage in bumping threads, flooding forums, or other attention-seeking behavior. Become a part of the community, approach others in a friendly way, and you’ll have plenty of interaction.
8. Do not post anyone else’s private information (name, address, phone numbers, emails) anywhere on the site. We would advise against posting your own as well.
9. No advertisements of any kind, including the use of signature links for advertising, may be posted without prior permission from the site owner. Accounts created for advertising purposes will be permanently banned.
10. One account per member. Additional accounts will be deactivated when found.
11. No racist comments or images.
12. All rules are applicable site-wide including in the chatroom. Guidelines:New Games: Think hard and plan carefully before you submit a new game. Can you commit to being the GM for the game? Do you have a good idea how the game play will work?
Writing Tastefully: If in doubt, don’t post it. Remember there are many options when writing a death or a sex scene and a little careful writing can convey much more storywise than extremely graphic gore or erotica.
Heated Discussion: We purposefully did not include a debate forum. If you find that a discussion is becoming very heated, step away from the computer for a while to cool down before an argument escalates. Chances are, if everyone does this, little things won’t become big things.
Writing Quality: While this is a fun site we also want it to be a good quality site. It’s not much fun if players are putting forth the effort to write really good posts but there is a player who just doesn’t care. Try your best to write quality posts with the best grammar, structure, and creativity that you can.
Flirting: Flirting is bound to happen. Excessive flirting on the boards will be moderated. You are responsible for the situations you create. Just beware that not everyone on the internet is as they seem. The staff of R.C. would far rather enjoy game play along with the members and spend time in friendly interaction rather than moderating everyone’s slightest word. However, it’s our job to make sure that the content standard of the site remains high and the forum remains fun for all, not just a few.
