For those who haven't recieved, or haven't subscribed to Game Informer magazine, I read a preview article on it.

So there is some good news, and some bad news.

The good news is that a 1 hour demo will be in the blu ray release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete.

The bad news is that the demo will not be in the North American release of the game.

From the GI guys, they basically said the demo was more focused on the battle system, rather than the storyline. Its an ATB system, similar to FFXII's no random battles, but without the awkward moving about and trying to hit the guys from 5 miles away. There is also a combo slot system which increases from three slots after each level up. So you can use 3 melee attacks, or blow it on one powerful spell, or combine the two into powerful techniques. The pictures showed amazing graphics, and for a funny one of the characters (no idea if this is true) has a baby chocobo living in his afro.

So for anyone living in North America we can expect the games release by mid 2010.

BONUS: I was watching E3 '09 LIVE this morning and on the headlines Square Enix was talking about the MMO Final Fantasy XIV to be on other systems than the PS3 and PC.
